Fee Criteria

Fees are determined in accordance with Italian law and the rules governing the legal professionals involved, including Article 13 of Law No. 247/2012, the applicable professional rules of conduct, Ministerial Decree No. 55/2014, as amended by Ministerial Decree No. 147/2022, and, where applicable in light of the client’s status and the nature of the professional engagement, Law No. 49/2023.  In litigation and court proceedings, the Firm applies the official fee parameters set out in Ministerial Decree No. 55/2014, as subsequently amended and supplemented. Eacch matter is assessed individually, and a tailored fee quote is provided following a preliminary evaluation of its specific circumstances, with particular regard to its value and complexity. Fees may therefore vary materially depending on the case.

Fee General References

For general reference only, the following indicative fee thresholds apply to an initial strategic legal consultation, including the review of relevant documentation, preliminary legal analysis, and an initial assessment of the matter. The fixed fees set out below relate exclusively to this first advisory stage and should not be construed as covering the full handling of the transaction, the matter, or the client engagement as a whole.

All fees are stated net of VAT and CPA. Italian VAT is charged at 22%, and the Italian Lawyers’ Pension Fund contribution (CPA) at 4%.

Indicative matter value thresholds: Up to €250,000: €600 | €250,000 to €520,000: €1,000 | €520,000 to €2 million: €1,800 | €2 million to €4 million: €3,500 | €4 million to €6 million: €5,500. For higher-value matters, fees continue on a proportionate basis, to be assessed by reference to the overall value, complexity, and bespoke structure of the transaction.

The same criteria may apply where the client elects to be billed on an hourly basis. In such cases, the hourly rate is determined by reference to the value, complexity, and overall profile of the matter and shall, in any event, not be less than €290 per hour, plus VAT and CPA.
